That question is, “How do I get my site approved for Google AdSense?“.

So even though you might consider it cliche to answer such questions at this point, we still need to answer that question for the sake of bloggers who have just started out.

Let’s get started.

Best Google AdSense Approval Process

Step 1: Create a Google AdSense Account

To have Google display ads on your blog or website, you need a Google AdSense account. To do that, click on this link.

While creating your account, there are a few things you need to be mindful of.

The first thing is your personal profile. Make sure the information you submit is the same as your government Id.

The second thing is your payment information. Also, make sure it’s the same as what you have on your government Id. Finally, you have the option to choose whether to register your account as an individual or a business.

I suggest you choose “Individual,” but if you have all the necessary documentation from your government as a business, feel free to go with “corporate” or “business”.

Step 2: Create a blog or website

To get started, you need a blog or website well designed. You need to make sure it’s clean and has great UI/UX for your visitors. All the buttons should work, and you should remove all broken links.

You should just make your site simple and clean. Your hosting company can make or break your site. If it’s your first time creating a website or a blog, you should go ahead and use Bluehost.

With a shared hosting plan, they provide you with a very fast server with the most affordable prices. If you want someone to set up your hosting and domain name for you, send us a message, and we can do that for you FREE of charge. Click here to send us a message now.

Step 3: Add the 3 required pages

For Google to approve your site, there are 3 essential pages that must be on your site or blog. Here they are;

  1. Contact Us
  2. Privacy Policy
  3. Terms and Conditions

You don’t need to write these pages yourself. There are tools on the internet that can generate these pages for you.

Click here to get started. The other option you have is to pay a lawyer to manually draft this out for you.

Step 4: Set up blog navigation

Add a category dropdown in the top navigation bar of your website. If you only have 1 or 2 categories, you can add them directly as a separate tab on the top navigation.

This helps Google to crawl your site and see all your content, and rank quickly for SEO and quick approval.

Step 5: Add Unique Content

Google hates spam content and won’t approve your website if you have spam content. Spammy content, according to Google, is simply any content written just to influence Google rankings.

It can be content copied from other people’s websites, AI-generated content, and any other low-value content.

What you need to do is write at least 30 unique, valuable, and long-form content with 1000 words or more. “30” is not a standard, but a lot of people have had easy approvals with just that number.

I’ve seen others get it for lower, but it always helps to be more prepared.

Step 6: Link your website to your Google AdSense account

Once you’re done with step 5, you are pretty much ready to let Google check out your website. The first step is to link your website to your Google AdSense account.

This can be very easy to do, especially if your blog runs on a Content Management System(CMS) like WordPress. All you have to do is to install SiteKit By Google on your WordPress, and it will guide you on how to link your website with your Google AdSense account.

If you are using a custom website, Google has a set of instructions you can email to your web developer to get them to do it for you.

Step 7: Request a review

Once your account is successfully connected, you should go ahead and request a review. You can do this by clicking “Home” on your Google AdSense dashboard and clicking on “Sites”.

You can then see the option to request a review. The review time is usually within 6 weeks. It can take a shorter time to hear from Google, like 2 to 3 weeks, but it rarely passes 6 weeks.

Once you get the confirmation and approval, move on to the last step.

Step 8: Start making money

Once your Google AdSense has been approved, you need to make sure your blog shows enough ads to maximize your earnings. There are plenty of spaces to show ads on your site, and you must take advantage of all of them.

A good way to do that is to use a plugin called Advanced Ads on WordPress. It will help you place ads in all the various spaces and make the most money.

How to Improve your chances of getting Google AdSense approval the first time

  1. Use your own images: Using other people’s images can also consist of spammy content.
  2. Write unique content: Your content should be plagiarism-free and valuable.
  3. Try to use a custom domain.
  4. Link your website to Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  5. Make sure you have constant traffic coming to the site(it doesn’t need to high but must be consistent until you get approved).
  6. You should wait at least 3 months after configuring your site before applying for a review.

If you follow this blueprint, you have a very high chance of getting approved on your first try. If you have any questions feel free to contact us directly here.
